Derek Poundstone Steroid Cycle

Derek Poundstone is a proud serving officer of the Naugatuck,  who also just so happens to be one of the World's Strongest Men. Poundstone Performance Training Center is the result of a vision to create the ultimate enviroment to grow stronger, faster and learn how to lead a high performance lifestyle.  Athletes of an elite caliber understand that an ordinary gym isn't always going to be the right place to train effectively in.  By building his dream training center, Derek has been able to outfit it with all the best strongman, powerlifting, conditioning and recovery tools that are necessary to take him and others to the top of their game.  In addition to that and in some ways more importantly, he's able to surround himself with friends, family and other likeminded individuals who share similar goals and help one another realize their potential.

It's not just about reaching his own goals, it's about helping others reach their own.  At Poundstone Performance Training Center, Derek and his team of trainers will help anyone with the desire and commitment to change their lives push themselves to another level.  Derek Poundstone is one of the most celebrated strongmen in the world. If anything, he’s probably the best know because he constantly places in the top of most strong man shows. In 2009 and 2010, Derek Poundstone took 1st at the Arnold Strongman Classic, for you muscle heads that’s the part of the Arnold with the power lifters. He also took 2nd in 2008 and 2012. In addition, he was America’s strongest man for 3 years, 2007-2009-2010, only missing 2008.

Derek Poundstone is a beast and he’s really at the top of his game. Want to know his size? 6’1, 341 lbs.! This man puts Phil Heath to shame. In reality, his only downfall came from an injury when he tried to dead lift 805lbs and hurt his spine Image that’s almost half a ton on a dead lift.
Mr. Poundstone is sometimes surrounded by controversy, and rightfully so. When people see him, they can’t believe a human being can lift this much weight, but it’s possible guys. After all, he’s doing it; though, he is 341lbs (wow!).  While that’s a tough guess, as there is no straight forward answers with power lifters and steroids, we can do some guess work. Most power lifters and strongman are tested and most are insanely strong, so we can easily assume short esters is the name of the game with these steroid runs. Let’s recreate a potential cycle.

Why were these steroids used during the cycle?

Testosterone Propionate – with any cycle you need a testosterone base and propionate is the perfect ester when it comes to testing. The short prop ester leaves your system fast and it’s hard to test for. It’s perfect to cycle at high dosages as you prepare for competitions.
Dianabol – this classic bulking oral steroid is a staple for all bodybuilders. It’s an amazing steroid when it comes to strength and mass gains. Most guys can expect significant mass gains from using Dbol during a cycle.
Cardarine (GW-501516) – this PPAR inhibitor is generally used to increase cardio shape and boost performance. It helps with speed, cardio and fat loss. It’s perfect for high volume performance.
Andarine (S-4) – this is a perfect SARM for power lifters. It helps you get strong and fast. In fact, the strength gains from Andarine are the best, bar no other sarm. Guys have shown a 30%+ increase in lifts after Andarine/Cardarine use.
Arimidex – this aromatase inhibitor is used to help with estrogen side effects during a cycle. Some power lifters prefer it over Aromasin because it leaves a bit of water to help them lift. It doesn’t completely dry you out.
N2Guard – this cycle aid is a must during any cycle. It helps with liver problems, kidney issues and keeps your body detoxed during the cycle.

Bodybuilding With Dwayne Johnson

It’s amazing what muscles can do for you. Apart from improving your appearance, increasing your self-confidence, and lengthening your life, they can take you to a lot of places you may never go otherwise. The journey Arnold Schwarzenegger’s muscles have allowed him to travel has been well documented, and countless actors, musicians, and other talents have used working out to advance their careers and enhance their lives.

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson,
one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, owes a lot to his training. And isn’t it interesting that
after everything else he’s accomplished, after all of the hit movies and conquering the WWE Universe, he found himself in a movie doing what started as a hobby decades ago? Bodybuilding. It’s only natural. Because under all the glitz and glamour, costumes and makeup, he’s got a perennially ripped physique.

On being a bodybuilder:
“I am a lot of things, but at my core, I always have been and always will be a bodybuilder. At least in terms of training, nutrition, and the love of being a gym rat. What’s funny is, I’ve had the privilege of playing foot- ball for great teams at the University of Miami, with great coaches and great players—Ray Lewis, for example. Then I was fortunate enough to have a career in wrestling. And of course there’s the movie career. But the one mainstay—the constant in my life—has been bodybuilding. I just love the feeling of being in the gym and transforming my body through good old-fashioned hard work and proper nutrition.”

Hrithik Roshan Body-Building Secrets

It has become almost customary to see Hrithik Roshan flaunting a chiseled physique.

In fact, most of us have taken it for granted that this Greek God of Indian cinema is blessed with muscle-gaining ability that seems impossible for most mortals.

However, our ignorance was shaken when images of Hrithik Roshan sporting a paunch and flab on this chest and around his chin were published in some leading magazines. The article is an account of Hrithik’s bodybuilding challenges and how he dealt with them. Reports in the media confirmed that due to a string of injuries that had rendered him almost incapable of hitting the gym and some personal issues, Hrithik had quit upon his strict workout schedule. Instead, the bottle and packs of cigarettes became his companion. It immediately became clear that Hrithik’s physique wasn’t a blessing of God but the results of his efforts without which he was prone to developing rather average bodily dynamics like most of us. Many people might not know that Hrithik shot for his role in “Agneepath” with a painful slip disc which he developed as a result of undertaking a dangerous stunt.
It was then that Hrithik took the help of Kris Gethin for regaining his fitness. He later confessed that he had almost assumed that he was supremely fit since this was the general impression in everybody’s mind and soon it infected his mind too. However, the injuries and the deteriorating state of his body made Hrithik realize that he wasn’t invincible. At the time when he met Kris, Hrithik had a 36+ inches waist and suffered from extreme fluctuations in blood pressure.

The Transformation Begins: Hrithik Gets Back to Training Hard with Kris Gethin Hrithik Roshan realized that for his role in Krrish 3, he needed to look at his fittest and muscular best. This is why the guidance of Kris Gethin became important since this guy has been behind some amazing transformation stories in Hollywood. Kris Gethin immediately introduced some changes in Hrithik’s outlook to exercising. This included combining nutrition with more taste and the ability to be fighting fit despite the after-effects of multiple injuries.

Hrithik realized that he had erred previously in terms of his dietary intake. Though his muscles had peaked at times, he was more dependent upon supplements. With Kris, Hrithik found the benefits of eating natural to fuel the muscles. His diet now consisted of at least 100 grams meat along with lots of complex carbs. Hrithik confirmed that it was essential for him to consume carbohydrates throughout the day since he needed the extra calories to support his muscle gains. It also became clear that for his protein intake, Hrithik became increasingly dependent on pure forms of protein like egg whites which he consumed for breakfast and dinner on days of heavy exercising.

Dwayne Johnson's Rock-Hard Hercules Workout

After watching Hercules", Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wants you to come away with one thing on your mind: that you've just witnessed the biggest, meanest, baddest and, more importantly, most definitive version of Hercules ever seen on the big screen.

For the majority of Hollywood's action stars, the task of realistically portraying an ancient Greek demigod would be more challenging than combining all 12 labors the mythical son of Zeus had to undertake. Many have tried in the past, and many have failed. Even for Johnson, with 260 pounds of muscle already clinging to his massive 6-foot-5 frame, it would prove no mean feat.

But after spending the majority of his life in the gym training to be a professional football player, world-renowned pro wrestler, and one of Hollywood's highest-ever grossing movie stars, it was a labor he had all the weapons to overcome.

If there's one thing life has taught the former national championship-winning footballer, it's that you only get what you're willing to put in. That's why he dedicates so much of his time and energy to making sure he's at his physical peak when he steps onto the movie set.To look the part for "Hercules," Johnson elevated his training significantly, using a six-days-on, one-day-off schedule for six months to help him bulk up. At the beginning of each morning, Johnson would complete a 50-minute cardio session before working on a specific body part depending on what day it was, with his legs being the only muscle group that received more than one workout per week. "I start working out pretty early, around 4 a.m. When I'm filming, I do cardio and I lift before going to set. I train about six days a week, and even when I'm not filming I get up between 3 and 5 a.m. just to train. I love training when the sun is coming up because it allows me to put on my headphones and step off the crazy treadmill that is everyone's life. I have my headphones on and I'm listening to my music and I'm 100 percent focused. There's no wasted time or effort when it comes to me and the weights.

"I work out for about 90 minutes, or maybe an hour and
45 minutes. When I hit the gym, I'm coming! I train hard, I come to kick ass—clanging and banging. With something like "Hercules," I was in costume and make-up for a few hours before shooting, so I'd have to get in the workout early."

"For 'Hercules,' it was a 22-week diet, full on. I'd eat a bunch of egg whites, filet mignon, chicken, fish, oatmeal, broccoli, asparagus, a baked potato, cream of rice, salad and complex carbs. All of this measured and weighed." Although Johnson will be the first to tell you his vigorous training sessions have helped him get where he needs to be physically, he also follows an incredibly strict diet before and during filming.

But once again he felt he needed to up his game for "Hercules," so Johnson and his nutrition team created his "12 Labors" diet, filled with large amounts of protein, carbs and fats, to make sure he was in the best shape of his life. With his dedication to fitness and nutrition second to none among Hollywood actors, Johnson has firmly cemented himself as, literally and figuratively, the biggest action hero in the world.

The Top 5 Celebrities Transformations

Christian Bale For Batman

From 179 pounds, to 119, to 191. From night stalker, to night owl, to 'Dark Knight.' Christian Bale's transformation is nothing short of a miracle.
It all started with, "American Psycho," when Bale got ripped in the year 2000 to play the psychotic role of serial killer, Patrick Bateman. From 2003 to 2004, he went on a diet of lettuce, cigarettes and celery (going from ~179 pounds to ~119) in order to portray industrial worker and insomniac, Trevor Reznik.

Hilary Swank For Million Dollar Baby dot

Linda Hamilton, Cameron Diaz, Sigourney Weaver. All
Hollywood leading-ladies with really feminine musculature. They have the kind of bodies many women want to have because they are so tight and defined, and men aren't intimidated by because they're not grossly massive.
Hilary Swank joined the ranks of these stars in Client Eastwood's 2004 picture "Million Dollar Baby." She played the role of Maggie Fitzgerald, a poor 31-year-old waitress, who decides she wants to make something of her life by trying her hand at boxing. She trains for hours on end, every day just like Hilary Swank did to get in shape for the role.

Ryan Reynolds For Blade: Trinity dot

We knew him as college frat-boy Van Wilder. Or as the
scrawny roommate on 'Two guys, a girl, and a pizza place.' We never thought of him as a 'hunky beefcake' until he surprised us all in 2004 with "Blade: Trinity."
A rippled 6-pack, toned, cut arms and shoulders a bodybuilder would envy, made him the new heart throb of the big screen. He wasn't so big that women would get turned off by him and he wasn't so small that men would call him puny. He got cover after cover after cover of men's health magazines, wanting to know how and why he transformed himself.

Charlize Theron For Æon Flux dot

Charlize Theron is the first South African actor to win an Oscar; and it's no wonder why. In every movie she does, she starts to personify the role. For example, for "North Country" and "Monster," Charlize Theron had to downplay her looks, gain weight (~30 pounds), and look like she hadn't showered in weeks in order to play a mine worker and serial killer, respectively.
But for 2005's "Æon Flux", she got into her role playing a feisty, mysterious assassin. Charlize had to wear a skin-tight leather suit while making 'saving the world' look easy. So she trained her butt off, lost all the weight (and then some) from her previous movies, and became the superhero portrayed in the comics.

Gerard Butler For 300 dot

4 months. Almost everyday. Spartan Training. There is no
way Gerard Butler would have been as convincing as he was in the role of King Leonidas, in the 2006 film "300," if it wasn't for the physique he has, and power he exemplified.
Imagine someone like Screech (from Saved by the Bell), leading the Spartans into battle against the Persians at Thermopylae. Butler trained extensively for 4 months, working with Mark Twight, who trained the entire cast, and Venezuelan bodybuilder named Franco LiCastro.
For the role, he had washboard abs and broad, chiselled shoulders that weren't hidden behind a fake suit (like in Batman or Spiderman). This gave Butler all the more reason to get in shape for the role; he wasn't about to hide behind some superhero uniform.
